Darkside

So we've moved on to the darkside...

We've purchased a Nikon D40 dSLR. Of course it won't replace entirely my love for my 'Dobie', Cannon AE1Program... but the decreased availability of our favorite film stocks, holding on to the bitter end of Kodachrome and Scala, has left us at the crossroads.

Now is the time to transition some of our shooting to digital, now that the quality of the image and the processing has reached levels that could ALMOST trick our eyes..

And in time, it saves our pocketbook.

I am personally excited about exploring IR, and having the ability to develop the artistic eye independent of post-processing.
